Managed Services: What Is It?

The phrase managed services refer to transfer of responsibility from one organization to another. This is primarily aimed at improving the quality of work done without putting too much pressure on the employees. The organization which offers this transfer is referred to as the offerer, or customer. The other end of the spectrum, i.e. the company which accepts the offer is known as the service provider. However the ownership or the authority of the work is retained by the offerer. This process is practiced frequently among big business enterprises that have an array of things to take care of. By this system the workload is distributed evenly and it also opens more employment opportunities for a larger number of people.
